Third Annual Stony Brook Invitational
The 3rd Annual Stony Brook Invitational was an individual competition organized by SBU Company of Archers in order to increase the interaction between clubs on Long Island and in New York City. Baruch, FIT, Columbia and Stony Brook has participated in this competition.
We want to give a special recognition for all of the FIT members. They were able to finish the 36 arrows under so much pressure despite that it was their first few weeks of Archery and 1st time at full indoor distance. None of them dropped out. We all understand that it is very tough for a completely new beginner to finish any competition, so be proud and keep the sprite up. I hope that our members can learn from them. You can improve and accelerate in archery only if you are persistent.
We also wants to thank the Baruch and Columbia shooters for participating.
Thank you so much for coming all the way out to Suffolk County and shoot with us. It was definitely a fun day.
