31 Hours until the 1st Annual Stony Brook Invitational. Although many schools that we have invited to shoot with us could not make it to the competition, we will make the best out of it with the people that are able to show up. Hopefully this tradition of the Stony Brook Invitational will carry on throughout the years that this club is alive because competition is a great way where individuals will advance.
Most people don't know that there's a difference when you shoot in practice and when you shoot in a competition. The love, anger, hate, training, and your knowledge of the sport all come out when you're competing and when something is on the line.
When there is something to lose, something to prove, and something to win; the best of you comes out.
In practice where you're just training and having fun, you don't really care.

Win or lose, the time we spend together is worth more than anything during these competition days.

The point of this invitational is not only to try and win a big trophy, but to realize where you stand as an individual in the sport of archery and what you can do to improve yourself.

Shout out to the Stony Brook Company of Archers. Without you guys, this invitational could not of happened. Each and everyone of you should show your best faces saturday and bring the big one back to home grounds.

SEE YOU ALL THERE!
